Black Diamond Skate Park wished for a second chance to make the right choice in IT service providers

Black Diamond Skate Park is a locally owned-store which presents athletes passionate about skateboarding and BMX biking with a safe, state of the art indoor skate park that offers daily sessions year round. In addition to operating as a skate park, which runs a variety of special events throughout the year, the park runs together with a retail shop stocked with skating gear and safety equipment.

Dan McCollister is the owner of Black Diamond Skate Park. His daily priorities include offering the best park, the best products, and the best prices. His commitment to the patrons of his skate shop and park led him to seek to hire an IT company that could manage the hardware and software his business required behind the scenes, so that he could focus exclusively on running his business.

Dan met with several companies in the industry, and chose to enlist the services of one of J. Harte Associates' competitor companies. This company presented itself with the same capabilities of J. Harte Assocaites, but they offered a slightly lower bottom line cost. Within two months of opening his new business, and relying upon the services of the IT company that he hired, Dan realized that he had made the wrong choice in IT service providers. The money that he thought he was saving was actually costing him more in the long run due to the hardware and software problems he encountered, and the down time that came as a result.
